System Two: This is system is the ‘slow’ system of thinking referenced in the book’s title. It is more deliberate and logical, and our decisions made from this way of thinking will be more rational and well-thought-out.

      Hi Sid,
Thanks a lot for this list of amazing books and this is like watering a plant, me, thirsty for knowledge. I already have 4 of these in my tsundoku, just lying there to be read, one by Thiel, Rabbi, Nightingale and Dispenza.
You forgot to add your own book, I know it’s out of modesty, a great virtue, I would add your book to this list at number 13 and take way the jinx associated with that poor number.
Apart from these just for personal development and thinking, I would also recommend, Thinking Fast and Slow and Noise, by Daniel Kahneman; Thus Spake Zarathustra by Nietzsche, a wonderful book on the inevitability of recurrence of events in life; Karma by Jaggi Vasudev, a great look into what Karma is and why we are all karma yogis; Citizen Tom Paine, my first full length English literature book, read it back when I was in 9th standard, a novel by Howard Fast, a great book on resilience and on the fiction side, The Kingsbridge Trilogy by Jen Follett, a masterpiece on how life can change in an instance and how one should make the best of circumstances and survive, for there is always a second, third and many more chances, if only one can persevere through all the trials and tribulations.
Thank you once again for the awesome list.
