Starting your knowledge business is fun.

Calling yourself a coach is even more exciting.

Quitting this business is super easy. Many have done it.

But taking it to the finish line is tough.

This is what differentiates the top 20% from the bottom 80%.

And this principle applies in every area of your life.

My only question to you is… “on which side do you want to be in?”

Top 20% or Bottom 80%?

In this blog, I want to reveal the top 5 obstacles that may come your way as you build your freedom business, along with a simple solution to overcome it.

I’m going to be blunt, if you are ok with it 🙂

It’s some tough love coming your way…

1. I don’t have time!

How much NetFlix do you watch in a day? 🙂

Usually this obstacle has a lot to do with the endless distractions which you may have on a day to day basis.

Maybe you are not clear on your goals.

Maybe you say YES to a lot of things.

Maybe you find it difficult to say NO.

Maybe you have not removed notifications from your mobile phone.

Maybe you spend a lot of time on NetFlix and on social media.

You may not be that organised in your life – physical space, digital space or emotional space.

Solution – You can only multiply your time and results by subtracting all the unnecessary things from your life. Get strong. Make those tough calls. Learn to say NO to a 100 things and YES to the few things which are aligned with your goals.

2. I don’t have money!

Even the Dhirubhai Ambani did not have money when he started!

The point is what are you going to do in spite of not having it.

The root cause of money problems is your money blueprint.

Maybe you despise rich people.

Maybe you think that more money is bad, at a subconscious level.

Because of that you say things like.. “money is not important, happiness is.”

Or “money can’t buy happiness”.

It’s such a stupid statement 🙂

Money is just a tool.

Happiness is an emotion.

These are 2 different things.

One thing is sure.. “money can solve a lot of problems that not having money brings about.”

Money can be used to do a lot of good in this world.

It’s the intention of the individual which determines the effect of money.

Your reason for not having enough money could also be due to not developing a valuable skill to monetise.

Solution – Stop blaming. Take responsibility. Take calculated risks. Raise your money thermostat by listening to the “strangest secret” daily twice. When you fix your mindset about money, it will flow into your life with more ease. Start giving in charity consistenty. It will create flow.

3. I’m not a technical person

I’m not asking you to launch a rocket into space! 🙂

Come on… saying that you’re not technical is just an excuse you are giving to yourself so that you can get others to do this for you.

Sorry, I’m being a little too blunt here.

But this is the truth.

The deep rooted issue here is the unwillingness to learn.

Maybe someone told you that you can only learn more when you are young, and when you grow older, your learning abilities go down.

Or… only young people are good in technology.

And you really believe in that crap? 🙂

I know a lot of senior citizens who learn like crazy and have redefined themselves after their 70s using technology!

This is just an internal programming that needs to be fixed.

You can change it.

Just flip the switch.

Yes!

The freedom business model has some tech setups to be done.

But if you can simply look at what I’m doing and follow the steps, even a 75 year old grandma can do it.

That’s how I have created my Freedom Setup Challenge.

Solution – Drop those tags and stop calling yourself a non-technical person. Say that you are an expert in technology. And you will be surprised on how fast you will break through your own inhibitions.

4. I’m not good at selling

Really? 🙂

If you are married, you have actually done the most awesome sales pitch in the world.

And if you are not married, at some point of time you would have convinced your parents to buy your favourite toy when you were young!

That is sales.

Sales is just a transfer of emotion.

And when you believe in your product, selling will be a form of service.

People who say that they are not good in selling have one of the 3 issues:

  • They feel sales people are sleazy (so they don’t want to sell)
  • They don’t like to be rejected
  • They don’t believe in their own product

If you have any one or more of the above three points, fix them.

You’ll start loving sales.

Solution – Build an awesome product. Believe that this product will change the world. And transfer those emotions to your audience in your webinars. Follow my webinar sales template. Sales will automatically happen. It will be your form of service to the world.

5. My ad costs are rising

This is what marketing is all about.

This is what entrepreneurship is all about.

It’s not about getting that paycheck on the 1st of every month.

It’s about constantly improving every aspect of your business system.

If ad costs are rising, fix your targeting and messaging.

If your funnel is not profitable, then fix your pricing strategy.

If your profitability is low, it could also mean 3 things:

  • Your customers are not seeing enough value in what you provide
  • Your conversion strategy needs to be improved
  • You are not growing and nurturing your community

A lot of my profits come from my Diamond membership.

And a lot of my customers upgrade to Diamond for the sheer value and insights they get at that level.

And that reflects in my overall profits, which justifies my ad costs.

Solution – Build your community with passion and love. Serve them well. Profitability is a by-product of you understanding your customer deeply and you providing them with crisp & practical solution to their problems through your products and services. Build your profit maximiser.

These are the solutions to the big 5 problems.

Yes! I’ve tried to over simplify every solution.

But that’s the best I could do. 🙂

The only thing for you to do is to “get the rubber on road”.

It’s different when you are sitting in the pavilion and wathing a cricket match.

But the real magic is when you are in the centre of the pitch batting.

As long as you are in the game, you will score runs.

I writing this note to let you know that obstacles are a part of this game.

Nothing worthwhile ever came easy.

And if ever something comes easy, it’s usually not worthwhile.

So stop complaining (if ever you have been doing so), and start doing.

I hope this email inspired you with some tough love to push though!

Comment below this post with your BIGGEST challenge.

Let me know how do you plan to solve it – based on the above points.

I want to read your solutions in your own words.

I believe you can overcome any obstacle.

Wishing you all the best to hitting your goals.

More power to you,
Sidz
