One of best thing I learnt from you Siddharth is, “there is lot of information available across the globe online with free access, the one who integrate it what makes specific for solving a problem or adding a value, would lead the game of success”.
In fact if we put keen observation, in the present world, there are wonderful products available across all the segments and in each segments again there are several top products made on the same principle, just by fine tuning one option in each product making it different. As, not all would like the same thing even if it belongs to the top league, until it is not solving his top problem or requirement.
And the best integrator understand the need, desire and problems of the end customer and prepares the recipe to fit their requirement and boom! Becomes the best in that segment.
This podcast is the best summary of the best things which are leading the market and stood up the test of time and yes, it’s a solution to a complex puzzle for a wise integrator to sweep the learnings and make his best product a market leader.
Wonderful Siddharth for making this very simple. I love the crisp information you provide in a short time with great value addition.

I have been looking towards all these businesses from the ordinary point of view but this podcast has given a great insight that they are actually ecosystems. They try to solve the problems of their customers by not only serving them but by also providing a remarkable and world class products. The customers get addicted to them.

      Apple
Apple builds very aesthetic designs which make anyone fall in love with the products. It never compromises in the quality and thus it makes the products the aspiring ones. Alongwith quality and aesthetic designs Apple also provides simplicity which attracts the customers more since it is the rare combination.

      Facebook
Facebook has made its interface in such a manner that one can form groups, can create pages, can arrange events and can perform many actions like this. It touches every possible aspects to engage people in there thereby creating a small virtual world inside the pocket.

      Amazon
Amazon tries to fulfil every single requirement of the customers with the help of physical and digital products as well. It provides a variety of quality products. The user friendly and simple to understand deals creates magic and the customers hardly switch to any other applications.

      Google
We know the importance of content creation. But to make it easily accessible and searchable is also as important as the creation is. Google keeps its website decluttered but has also made it very powerful search engine simultaneously.

    • Ankit Kumar

      #ilhfamily #ilhdeeplearner

GAFA: Google, Apple, Facebook & Amazon (The Dominators of the World)
A Platform-Based Model which is the future for dominating in any niche

They are the powerhouse of the entire world.
Common point is they all have platform based models. They have built ecosystems, where once people get attracted they voluntarily don’t return back because of great customer experience.
As people get so comfortable that they don’t ever want to leave it.

Key insights to take from these:

Apple – Builds great quality products which deliver delight on every stage of customers journey. That’s why we observe that when someone buys any Apple product and uses it, Rarely people will switch to another. Such amazing is their product quality and customer experience.
It is an aspirational brand. Even the people who don’t have it, they aspire to buy it. They want to feel it & use it.
The environment is such that Apple knows that people who can’t afford it now, once they are able to do it, will buy their product.
Have product lines interconnected. All the products compliment each other.
Always innovating and building new products. Finding ways to reach a broader audience and also better the experience of their existing customers. Thus bringing in more revenue from a single user. Always pushing the boundaries for best customer experience.
Defines where the market needs to move like the introduction of the Ipad which revolutionized the industry, moving from touchpad phones to touchscreen mobiles.
Always look for ways how you can improve the product. Start building versions of your product inorder to give more value to your customers.
Simplicity is the key. Follow a no fluff or BS model. Information is everywhere. People need more practical knowledge with structure which they can implement now.
Focus on getting your product a world class design. As that’s what will impact people when they have a look at it. It creates an awesome image of you and your brand. Every element speaks for itself.

Facebook – Build your own private network of like minded people. Where people are continuously learning, growing, creating lifetime bonds and exploring the power of collaboration. Building a positive addiction where people don’t waste time but Learn, Do, Teach and Grow.

Amazon – When one reaches a particular level, should incorporate physical products as well along with digital products. As these will help your brand grow. And you will reach a larger audience. Like amazon, you will become a marketplace where people come to buy whatever they want from your niche.
You become an Amazon of your own Niche. Also, you could use it for betterment of customer experience and helping people in their journey to greatness.
Keep adding new products so that people are excited to buy more things and want to explore more. Plus give offers for people taking actions. This will gamify your product and will help people in getting more results and learnings.
Google – Building its own search engine. The objective is people getting more answers to their questions, doubts (thus growing more quickly) and they don’t leave the platform, thus helping you increase your brand value and trust among your buyers.

When you take learning from these dominators of the world, you will build something of which you will not only be proud of, but also will become everlasting, building a legacy for yourself.

    • Pradeepkumar KP

Correlate, differentiate and take the points which can apply and adapt in one’s own life context is a great self and system development method. There is something to learn from each and everything in this world. What we require is an eye to see that what our normal I can’t see. Everyone can develop that eye ,if there is an urge dive deep to enquire what its mean to me and what I can learn from each and everything as long as these is carving for knowledge.

Mr.Sidz,in his podcast made it very clear what it means to him the learning as far as top 4 companies termed by the acronym GAFA is concerned and take out the elements that can be equally applied to knowledge business also. These companies, GAFA (G-Google A- Apple F-Facebook A- Amazon),dominate in Search, Tech, Social Media and Retail space respectively.

There are many principles and values of these companies, we can incorporate in our Knowledge Business and can get much better results. We can relate how it can apply to a Digital Coach’s Success. This is a cue to the listeners, how to use this strategy of learning given as examples to have similar knowledge adaptation.

The highlight of all these companies is the ECO-SYSTEM or platform, all these companies s are natured, maintained and developed an eco-system. It is made such a way that people will get addicted to the platform, as they love the features, so much.
The highlights of their eco systems are High Retention of Customers, The product perspective like product development, product enhancement and customer experience, etc…

Sidz made a List of things they do, could take out some patterns from them and able to apply to his knowledge business.

Apple : Quality of products, Customer Delight, Aspirational Brand, Products that complement each other which equally applicable to knowledge business. Apple not believe in market research , they want to take the market on their way, customer centric approach giving out of box solutions. Inspiring Teams, Simplicity, all what takes its needed and world class Design.
Big take away: Brand Consistency and World Class Design

Facebook: Ideas taken from Facebook, Own private network, events, How to make the students to get deep in to the courses.

Amazon: Connecting physical products to the brand and add merchandize. Keep adding new products to keep the excitement alive, offers to connect with students with rewards as part of gamification process.

Google: given the Idea for a dedicated Search engine for own community to access the paid or related content of the courses provided, Indexing content and Easley accessing the content.
Incorporating these ideas in your courses will give much leverage in the market and excitement to students.

PS:-Some more values of these companies, which coaching community can follow are:

    • Dhruv Das Munshi

Excellent and innovative content. My learning is:
      a) GAFA has a ecosystem of their own.
      b) Apple builds the best quality products and give a feeling of customer delight. The same has been incorporated in all our courses.
      c) Apple is an aspirational product. Same thing happens when one gets into ILH.
      d) Apple create an amazing ecosystem of their products and all of them compliment each other. Same as our different level of courses.
      e) Apple keep pushing their boundaries. They constantly innovate and improve upon their products and the same is done by our Digital Buddha.
      f) Apple is known for its simplicity.
      g) Apple has world class products.
The lesson from Apple is that build simple but world class products which are customers delight and make them addicted to our own ecosystem.
      h) Facebook teaches us to have our own eco network like the Mighty networks and provide all the segments that a member may require and get him addicted to it for any help required. Moreover, it’s a community building exercise too.
      I) Amazon teaches us to have our own branded store and continuously add on items in the store. Also, gamification, like offfers etc. are an important feature which Sidz has incorporated in different forms.
      j) Google teaches us to set up our own search engine by indexing all our contents and the student need not go anywhere to search for answers to questions he has.
All the above mentioned points, if kept in mind while making our courses will make us stand out in this crowded marketplace of digital coaching industry.
