If you're looking to grow your business, it's important to adopt the mindset of a farmer, not a hunter. Generating leads and making sales without spending money on ads may seem like a daunting task, but it's not impossible. The key is to approach the process in a three-step process: connecting, conversing, and converting.

First and foremost, it's important to connect with your audience in a genuine and authentic way. This can be done by joining groups on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or YouTube.

Engage in meaningful conversations with your audience and avoid pushing your ideas or products on them. People don't like to be sold to, so the goal is to attract them to your brand.

Once you have established a connection and had a meaningful conversation, the conversion process will come naturally. It's important to remember that pushing for a sale too early in the process can be detrimental to the relationship.

Instead, focus on building a relationship with your audience and the sales will come naturally. Trust is key, and the more your audience trusts you, the more likely they will be to make a purchase.

      wow….. what an important topic to discuss. It’s one of the biggest challenges faced by every online business owner. Nurturing your TA is the best way. Yes, as suggested by SIDZ is to engage your audience and it’s for online and offline spaces. Online space is little more challenging till you get a hang of it (I am talking about myself and my types— on a fun note).

      Just like cold calls, direct selling approach is a total put off. It sends away even a prospective buyer. Connect to convers is super powerful manner. Bite what you can chew so go as per your pace and capacity to engage. STAY FOCUSED AND CONSISTENT.

      Yes, I listened to it once again (I do that often as listening to Sidz podcast or reading his blogs each time gives me new bulb on moments).

      In most simplistic manner I can summarize it – Put yourself in position of your targeted audience. How would you like to be approached for business then do same. In may case, I do market research and follow case studies. See what others are doing and how are they doing it. Understand the gaps in the market. Brainstorm on creating best practices of user’s experience.

      I use weekly instagram lives to get people to follow me on Instagram where I nurture them. I think people who watch lives are more serious than the ones who watch reels.

      When you have a meaningful interaction just focus on building a relationship.

      Redirect people to your own private group or webinar when they reach out to you.

      Have a genuine intent to engage and help. Try not to sell. Try to connect and let the sales come through naturally based on the trust you have built.

      How to generate Organic Leads
      This is a farming process, not a hunting process.
      People don’t like to be sold to, it has to be a pull method.
      Connection – Emotional Connection Formula !!!!!!!!!!!!
      Choose your platform of preference and use the relevant ways to drive audience to you.
      Conversation – Open conversations with others without having the sales in mind. Build genuine relations.
      Conversion – Conversion will happen on it’s own if they keep checking your work and follow you. But, you need a powerful Lead Magnet for being able to convert.

      What is being called as organic lead generation is the selfless conversation which should anyway have been happening in our social circles. Basically, trying to emotionally engage with what other person is saying without expecting anything in return (extreme contrast to the cold-calling culture that is prevalent now-a-days).


      My learning from this is that an individual has to start making effects like the ripples created by a single stone in the pond’s water by using any of the social media channels, later this ripple effect can be enhanced by the strong wind effect similarly later your impact on social media can be increased by inorganic customer growth.

      My understanding from the podcast:
      1 Before going in for Ads one needs to go for organic lead generation. A farming concepts.
      2 The concept is to sow seeds, water them and nurture them further and wait for them to germinate, sprout and become saplings and grow to be tree to give fruits.
      3. In the organic lead generation, one needs to daily go to social media connect with people by commenting on their contents genuinely and engaging emotionally.
      4. With the passage of time some of these connections will be in fruitful conversation and they could be brought to your group- converting them as the leads. A free lead magnet, Email marketing tools and Calendly appointment systems will help in automating systems to get quicker results.
