      It is about designing the funnel to attract right customers- STAGES: AIDA ….attract, interest, desire, action…..develop strategies for each stage.
      1) Direct sale process: drive traffic – land up in website – get details of the customer – they go through details of the product and buy….it could be e-book,mini course etc.,
      2) Book launch funnel: drive traffic, give free chapters from your book, invite them for a paid webinar or they will buy a mini course, free consultation, paid consultation.

      You need to try various means and anchor a few that bring you the quality leads. Lots can be seasonal and relate to the target audience. So this is not set in stone.       It is never really about the lead magnet that matters. what matters is the kind of customized effort that goes into each stage of the marketing funnel…
      There are 4 stages of the marketing funnel…
      1. Awareness stage: it is the cold market where people do not know anything about you or your product… they are by default not interested in your product… Hooking lines and words are hence needed in this stage I think…
      2. Interest generation: Once they are ready to stop and listen, interest build has to be done… Like what’s in it for them…
      3. Desire: After interest is generated, there needs to be a void which will create demand by the customer… this creation of demand can be done by reminding the customer of their desire…
      4. Action: the most important… after all the above stages are done… they need to come together into some buying action…

      In short, known as AIDA concept of marketing is to be supplemented with sales strategy… there are 12 ways to generate sales known as funnels which lead a customer into buying…
      1. Direct sale: Offering a product/ service straight-forward promising to solve some problem…
      2. Book launch funnel: If there is a book, offer a free chapter in exchange for an email id…, then make offer
      3. Social Media group: Invite customers into a private group and nurture them for 3-4 days then make an offer
      4. Free webinar funnel: needs a catchy title… but the problem with this funnel is the show-up rate is less. Psychology of people doesn’t appreciate/ value free things
