      1- UNDERSTANDING HUMAN BEHAVIOUR: Selling is always an emotional decision. People connect it with logic once they buy it. Therefore it’s important to connect with our customers emotionally.

      2- GOOD AT STORY TELLING : People always relate to stories. Stories grab their attention. They connect it with their own life. Facts Tell (Story Sell). They feel our emotions which they can visualize. When they connect well with your story, they will connect with your offer or product as well.

      3- CRAFT OFFERS THAT SOLVES PROBLEMS: Research on designing the offers that address their pain points & provide solutions. Provide tangible solutions, craft offers in such a way that they feel guilty if they don’t go for it.

      4- FACE MORE REJECTIONS: You should be able to face initial rejections. As they are temporary. If we are consistent & refine things. You will get a sea change in outcome soon. The majority of the people don’t grow in their sales because they are afraid of facing rejection. We just need to establish a better connection with our customers & embrace rejections.

      1. HUMAN BEHAVIOUR: To understand sales it is important to understand human behavior. Selling is always an emotional decision. We rationalize what we bought only after buying it. Buying has less to do with logic.
      Understanding this is important because only then can we know what emotions to trigger to make a customer buy.

      2. STORY-TELLING: “Facts tell, but stories sell”. People connect with stories…

      3. OFFER: Understanding the pain points and converting them into solutions that solve the problems of customers… These solutions will be crafted into some offer. A lot of time and skill are needed to craft an irresistible offer that solves the problems of target markets.

      4. REJECTIONS: embrace rejections and do not lose faith, because rejections are a huge part of the sales process. Why people do not get into sales is because they have this fear of rejection…

      5. SELLING SYSTEM: Build a system and follow it every time you try selling.

      6. PRACTICE SELLING: Selling is a craft. It can be learned only after doing it. So practice is the key to getting better at selling

      7. FEEDBACKS OF NON-BUYERS: Collect data on why prospective buyers did not end up buying and try improving on those points…

      Handling rejection (NO) while selling is a major challenge to entrepreneurs.

      10 tips to learn to sell better
      1. Understand Human behavior: Selling is an emotional decision. When we buy some new thing like an iPhone or iPad, it’s more of an emotional attachment to the product rather than just a logical decision to buy. As humans, we buy emotionally first and then rationalize it. Based on this we can learn what emotions to generate when we want to sell our products. Learn 27 emotional trigger points to sell from the book “You Can Coach”
      2. Get good at storytelling.: Facts Tell, Stories sell. The best leaders in selling are the best storytellers. Because people when connect with the emotions in your story, make decisions to move forward. More than the features and benefits of the products, it’s the story that seals the deal.
      3. Craft offers that solve problems: The offers need to be crafted by understanding the pinpoints of our customers., converting the pinpoints to tangible solutions and incorporating in the offer. When during the sales process, they see that the offer has a solution to their problems, and this becomes an irresistible offer. So if we want to get better at selling, we got to spend more time for designing of the offer.
      4. Embrace rejections.: You get better at selling when you get more rejections while selling. 100-200 rejections make you thick-skinned, and not affected by whether they are going to buy or not buy my product. Just focus on transferring the energy on the point why it is beneficial to them. It’s up to them whether they are going to buy or not. Most people fail to do well in sales, as they get worried about rejections.
      5. Follow a selling system: Selling is a system, process, skill, a science that has to be built over time. Suppose in a webinar selling system, there is a formula for how to start the webinar, how to earn the right, and how you get people to connect with your mission and buy YOU first, before the product. It’s about how you deliver and blow their minds away with the concepts you are sharing. Then only you will lead them to the offer and get into the offer, and they make an informed decision.
      6. Practice selling: Though you learn how to sell from your mentors unless you put it into practice, you cannot sell. It is like Learning martial arts, not practising in the dojo, and learning how to swim by reading books, and not being able to do them. We need to conduct more and more webinars, and learn from every session, even after doing 600 and odd webinars, you still learn something new. So you may never say that you are the master at it as there is always the next level at learning. So always keep practising the sales process.
      7. Get feedback from nonbuyers: If someone is not buying your product, you can ask for their feedback on a google form, what are the reasons and resistances to not buying. Collect all of them and address them in future webinars. Makes you understand what keeps people from not buying
      8. Authenticity: Is when are truly real, and you set the right expectations. Because people buy you first and then the product. Setting expectations is to be clear the product will work for whom, not for whom. Like it may not work for students, people with get rich with quick ideas, it may work for those who are committing to work on themselves and not looking for shortcuts. By being authentic and setting the right expectation, you can build a massive tribe
      9. Do not focus on sales: Focus on delivering the value, delivering the good, buying decision is left to them. Give them tangible strategies, and mindset principles that help them progress in life. In webinars that focus on building a lifelong relationship, ask them to follow on social media and YouTube, but tell them that when they enter your community, they get a more structured, and support from the community is there. They can even build standing outside the community by following you. So when people sense that detached mode, you actually get better sales and have the right customers coming in.
      10. Get inputs from your community: Interact with your own community why did they buy from you, and what factors inspired them to take the action. List the points, some of which you have not thought about, and reiterate them in your sales process.
      Practice doing 2-3 webinars a week. Get practice irrespective of how many are attending, and how many are buying, and then master the selling skills to one to many. Go through the grind and you will come out as a beautiful product, confident of selling.

      Sales is an evolving skill and science , You be practising it – you will be come GOOD AT IT !! I remembered a video by young kid who talked about – how negative emotions will be breed more negative emotions- like you are practising – practice make a a man perfect – so if we nurture negative feelings , we will get good at it. Similarly , if we practise positive emotions, we will get good at it too !!

      Great and inspiring one to have…. My main take aways ,

      – understand the human behaviour , so that it becomes easy to sell.
      -understand the pain points
      -start embracing rejections
      -follow a selling system
      -practise a selling system
      -being authentic is so imortant
      -dont focus on sales , focus only on VALUES
      – feedback from non buyers is so imporatnt
