Sidz, this topic is close to my heart for almost 15 years now. And I remember the first time I created a Code of Honor for my company.
Code of Honor is more of ethics for a group, whereas values are personal and differ from person to person. Having said that, if a leader of the tribe has a mission, vision & Values & no Code of Honor, whatβs missing is how to function as a group. Code of Honor is not just about how to conduct actions in the group, it also protects every member of their privacy, respect & preserves ethics in the tribe.
Code of Honor brings like minded people in the tribe. Members who donβt resonate drop off the tribe by themselves. Code of Honor is a strong sense of refinement for the tribe. Some years before I had searched for Code of Honors of Huge corporations and one image that I came across was J&J Code of Honor, carved on a huge piece of Marble, situated right at the entrance of their complex.
The principle of the Golden Circle is just awesome. The outer ring is the βWhatβ, the middle circle is the βHowβ and the inner ring is the βWhyβ. Most Leaders talk about what they do.

The prblm is confidence – people lack confidence and Courage especially emerging women
Mission – I help emerging women to get confidence in whatever they dream of doing just by altering their attitudes of mind. A person can never lack confidence when they have right mindset

The only way to attract life long customers is to be very clear on your vision, mission and values and the Code of Honour for yourself. Very few Business communicate inside out but they do much better than outside to inside businesses.
Mission focused businesses will definitely outdo profit centered businesses.
Vision, mission should clearly state as to what problem you are going to solve.
Next is values which need to be defined and should sprout out of your mission statement.
And last comes Code of Honour, it is a rule to protect you from you while making decisions.

As much as we agreed on the importance of GOAL setting to help us achieve clarity, we will continue on the same momentum to understand how to design a VISION, MISSION, VALUES, and CODE OF HONOR.
In order to attract, connect, and stay engaged with our tribe of customers and community members, we must communicate and radiate the WHY of whatever we are doing? WHY are we doing what we are doing? This is inside out communication. Most businesses communicate outside-In i.e. they provide clarity on what they are doing. If we can radiate our WHY, we will attract customers for life.
The WHY is a compound of Vision, Mission, Valules, and Code of Honor.
Vision is the final outcome when the problem is solved
Mission is something we do on a persistent basis to progress towards the vision
Values are foundations and principles that we stand for.
Code of Honor is to help us make decisions that align with our principles and foundations. It is to protect us from us.
