There are 10 internal fears that we all go through as human beings at different stages in our life. These fears can either make you or break you as a person. The only antidote to "fear" is "faith".

      Hey Sidz, I am totally able to relate to this topic and the different fears you mentioned. Making fear a friend is the best solution. fear is a very natural reaction of an active mind. The crux of the matter is how you deal with it.
      Specially fear of success due to what and who you loose in the process. you explained the solutions to overcome fear so beautifully. Your social, economical, academic and religious environment plays very important role when it comes to your success.
      A very important aspect is recognizing your fear and your need to have this fear which is normally deep rooted in your upbringing. Hence associating with like minded people with similar energy frequency is vital.

      I liked the podcast. It has given a clear concept: of what is fear – its origin and plus and the negative aspects and how to deal with it effectively. My take on the basis of this content and my own understanding from my life experience is as follows.
      1. Fear comes from a lack of clarity and loss of self-confidence.
      2. It may be triggered by some situations which have some connection to the subconscious, developed in childhood or could be from past lives.
      3. If it is a big one, it may paralyze one.
      4. Its origin could be from the past, but it is about the future – death, loss of face, not having money & relationship (loneliness) etc…
      5. In a way fear is a warning signal an internal mechanism to protect, which may not be relevant now – fear of darkness a primitive man had. But fear is always a warning signal and instead of losing head, it is to be taken as a friend to take heed of.
      6. At different times and different phases of life and life situations different fear warnings will come, and it is inevitable.
      The important thing is how to deal with them.
      A. To remain calm, note down and analyze and take appropriate action to deal with it.
      B. Positive affirmation will also help. It will transform the mindset and correct the subconscious
      c. Consulting good friends and knowledgeable people will also help.
      D. Faith and surrender to the Almighty will give courage and open the path and make one free from mental agony.
      E. Prayer, meditation, and doing good karma will definitely help in dissolving fear. Fear comes from a sense of loss and one will lose when he is attached to it. By surrendering everything, including fear and anxiety, one will get free from the mental agony associated with it.

      Wonderful Podcast, great learning: For me the crux of this learning is that It’s all in the perspective same fear can be your enemy and can become a devastating factor for your breakdown and same fear can become your friend and can be a caution point to protect you from the negative effects of the outcome that could be if you don’t get the right message from that Fear. But this is easier said than done because playing with perspective is an art and for every art you need to do a lot of practice to become efficient, so the MOOL MANTRA IS Practice, Practice ____practice and more of practice to polish and shine yourself and reach to a level of excellence where you get that swift drift in your perspective even without you yourself knowing about that shift and deal with your fears as a swift walk in the beautiful garden. And the practice ground for this practice is your thought process.

      My takeaways interspersed with my learnings and thoughts:

      FEAR arises because we care about the consequences. We imagine the consequences.

      Some lessons from the Bhagavad Gita:

      1)We only have the FREEDOM to make the EFFORT/ACTION. We do not have the right to claim the FRUIT of the ACTION. All good KARMAS will be rewarded in some form or the other. The all-pervasive supreme force is responsible for the result!

      So don’t hold yourself responsible for the result.

      2)There are KARMAS we inherit from our previous lives which we have to discharge. We come to this world with a baggage of KARMAS. The sooner you expend your KARMAS, the more merrier your old age will be.

      3)SERVICE :: Engage in motiveless service to the society, planet, human, nonhumans, etc. and you will see that the divine itself will intervene and create conditions for your success when the time is ripe.

      The above three points will absolutely rid us of ANXIETY. With an unwavering FAITH in the supreme, we can eliminate FEAR.
